As per the latest KVS PRT Pattern (Scheme), the question paper will comprise of Part 1 (General Hindi and General English) and Part 2 (General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability, Computer Literacy, Padagogy and Subject Paper). KVS PRT Syllabus (Subject Paper)
In the PRT written exam the subject paper will be set to assess the ability in Core language Competency (Hindi and English), General Science, General Maths and Environmental Science as per the detailed Syllabus below:

Core Language Competency
The candidate should have adequate understanding of English and Hindi language to deal with students of Elementary Classes. The ability to comprehend the texts and express then effectively in writing/ orally will be measured through written test and interview.

Articles/ Determinals, Prepositions, Verb forms, Adjectives, Tenses, Modal Auxiliaries, Active/ Passive, Reported Speech, Punctuations, Letter Writing (formal and informal), Essay on current issues, Speech, Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases, Antonym and Synonyms, Methods of teaching English at Elementary level.
